Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #39033
Hadith #39033
On the authority of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, he preached on Friday and said in his sermon: Then you people eat two trees that I see as nothing but evil: onions and garlic - I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, when he found their scent coming from a man in the mosque, he ordered him to go out to Al-Baqi’, and whoever eats them, let him kill them cooked. ((Narrated by Muslim)).
