Hadith #39036
عن أم سلمة رضي الله عنها قالت قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ "‏من كان له ذبح يذبحه، فإذا أهل هلال ذي الحجة، فلا يأخذن من شعره ولا من أظفاره شيئًا حتى يضحي‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Umm Salamah, may God be pleased with her, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever has an animal to slaughter must slaughter it, and when the new moon of Dhul-Hijjah comes, he should not remove anything from his hair or nails until he sacrifices” ((Narrated by Muslim)).
