Hadith #39042
وعن أبي موسى رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏إني والله إن شاء الله لا أحلف على يمين، ثم أرى خيرًا منها إلا كفرت عن يميني، وأتيت الذي هو خير‏"‏‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏
On the authority of Abu Musa, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “By God, God willing, I will not swear an oath and then see something better than it, unless I atone for my oath and do what is better.” (Agreed upon)
