Hadith #39685
On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, he said: I entered upon the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, while he was feeling unwell, so I touched him with my hand and said: O Messenger of God, you are very unwell. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Yes, I am as weak as two men among you.” He said: So I said: Is that because you have two rewards? He said: “Yes.” Then he said: “What?” “If a Muslim is afflicted with harm, such as illness or anything else, God Almighty will remove from him his bad deeds just as a tree sheds its leaves.” (agreed)
