وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «إِذَا مَاتَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا تَحْبِسُوهُ وَأَسْرِعُوا بِه إِلى قَبْرِه وَلْيُقْرَأْ عِنْدَ رَأْسِه فَاتِحَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ وَعِنْدَ رِجْلَيْهِ بِخَاتِمَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ» . رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي شُعَبِ الْإِيْمَانِ. وَقَالَ: وَالصَّحِيْحُ أَنَّه مَوْقُوْفٌ عَلَيْهِ
On the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, he said: I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “If one of you dies, do not imprison him, but hasten him to his grave, and let it be recited at His head is the beginning of al-Baqarah, and at his feet is the beginning of al-Baqarah.” Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman. He said: What is correct is that he is suspended. attic
