قال: دخلنا دار أبي سيف العامل مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم. وهو زوج قابلة إبراهيم بن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم. فأخذ رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) إبراهيم بين ذراعيه فقبله واستنشقه. وفي أحد الأيام ذهبنا إلى منزل أبو سيف. في هذا الوقت كان نبيتاناي على فراش الموت. (لرؤية حاله) دخل الماء في عيني رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم). فبدأ يقرأ فلما رأى هذا الموقف قال عبد الرحمن بن عوف يا رسول الله! أنت تبكي! فقال (عليه السلام): يا ابن عوف! إنها رحمة الله. ومع ذلك، بدأت عيناه تدمعان. وقال (عليه السلام): إن العين لتدمع، والقلب ليحزن. ولكن لا تزال أفواهنا تنطق بكلمات يرضي بها ربنا عنا. يا إبراهيم! نشعر بحزن عميق لرحيلك. (البخاري، مسلم) [1]
He said, We entered the house of Abu Sayf the worker with the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). He was the husband of the midwife of Ibrahim, the son of Rasulullah (peace be upon him). Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) (Alaihi wa sallam) took Ibrahim in his arms, kissed him and sniffed him. Then one day we went to Abu Sayf's house. At this time Nabeetanay is on his deathbed. (Seeing his condition) water rolled down the eyes of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). started reading Seeing this situation, 'Abdur Rahman Ibnu 'Awf said, O Messenger of God! You are crying! He (peace be upon him) said: O Ibnu Awf! It is the mercy of Allah. Still, his eyes began to water. He (peace be upon him) (Alaihi wa Sallam) said: The eyes are shedding tears, the heart is sad. But still our mouths utter words for which our Lord is pleased with us. O Ibrahim! We are deeply saddened by your passing. (Bukhari, Muslim) [1]
