وَعَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ مَوْلى مَيْمُونَةَ قَالَ: أَتَيْنَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَلَى الْبَلَاطِ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ. فَقُلْتُ: أَلَا تُصَلِّىْ مَعَهُمْ؟ فَقَالَ: قَدْ صَلَّيْتُ وَإِنِّىْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُول الله يَقُولُ: «لَا تُصَلُّوا صَلَاةً فِي يَوْمٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُوْ دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ
On the authority of Sulayman, the servant of Maimunah, he said: We came to Ibn Umar at the court while they were praying. So I said: Don't you pray with them? He said: I prayed, and I heard the Messenger of God say: “Do not pray a prayer twice in a day.” Narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawood and Al-Nasa’i
