Hadith #40121
عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ: أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلى رَسُولِ اللّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَتْ: الدَّائِمُ قُلْتُ: فَأَيُّ حِينَ كَانَ يَقُومُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ؟ قَالَتْ: كَانَ يَقُومُ إِذَا سَمِعَ الصَّارِخَ. (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Masruq, who said: I asked Aisha: Which work was most beloved to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace? She said: Always. I said: What time did he get up at night? She said: He would get up when he heard someone screaming. (agreed)
