Hadith #40120
قال: (ذات ليلة) قام رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) في صلاة التهجد حتى الفجر، ولم يزل يقرأ إلا آية واحدة، هذه الآية: "في تعزيب هم فينهم إب-دوكا وإن تغفر لهم فيناقة أنتال". "عزيز الحكيم" يعني "اللهم! إذا عاقبتهم فهم عبيدك. وإن تغفر لهم فإنك أنت القوي الحكيم» (سورة المائدة 5: 118). (النسائي، ابن ماجه) [1]
He said, (One night) Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) stood in Tahajjud prayer until dawn and continued reciting only one verse, this verse is “In Tu’azib Hum Fayinnahum ‘Iba-Duka Wa In Tagfir Lahum Fayinnaqa Antal. "Azizul Hakim" means "O Allah! If you punish them then they are your slaves. And if You forgive them, then You are the Most Powerful and Wise" - (Surah al-Ma'idah 5: 118). (Nasa'i, Ibn Majah) [1]
