Hadith #40153
قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا خرج سفراً صلى المكتوبة بالليل جالساً على فرسه ويشير. كان وجه الفارس على هذا الجانب. وهكذا يصلي الصلاة صلى الله عليه وسلم على فرسه. (البخاري، مسلم) [1]
He said, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went on a journey, he would perform the obligatory prayers at night while sitting on his horse and pointing. The rider's face was on that side. This is how he prays the prayer (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) performed it on his horse. (Bukhari, Muslim) [1]
