فقال: كان من حسن حظي أن كنت مع عبد الله بن عمر في طريق مكة إلى المدينة. (فلما جاء وقت صلاة الظهر) جعلنا نصلي ركعتين. ولما عاد من هنا إلى الخيمة رأى الناس واقفين. وسأل ماذا يفعل الناس. قلت إنهم يؤدون صلاة النافلة. قال: "إذا كان علي أن أصلي صلاة النافلة فالأفضل أن أصلي صلاة الفرز كاملة". لكن متى لتسهيل أداء الصلاة المفروضة فالأفضل ترك صلاة النفل عندما يؤمر بها. كما كان من حسن حظي أن أكون مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم. وكان لا يصلي في السفر أكثر من ركعتين. أيضا المشي مع أبو بكر، عمر، عثمان حصلت على الفرصة. كما أنهم لم يصلوا أكثر من ركعتين بهذه الطريقة. He said, I had the good fortune to be with 'Abdullah ibn Umar once on the way to Makkah-Madinah. (When it was time for Zuhr prayer) He made us pray two rak'ahs (in congregation). Returning from here to the tent, he saw the people standing. He asked what the people were doing. I said they are performing nafl prayer. He said, "If I have to perform the Nafl prayer, then it would be better to perform the Farz prayer completely." But when to make it easier to perform the obligatory prayer It is better to leave Nafal Salat when it is ordered. I also had the good fortune to be with Rasulullah (may peace be upon him). He did not pray more than two rak'ahs (compulsory) while travelling. Also walking with Abu Bakr, 'Umar, Uthman I got the chance. They also did not perform more than two rak'ahs in this way.
