Hadith #40165
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَبِىْ هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُمَا قَالَا: سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ عَلَى اعْوَادِ مِنْبَرِه: «لِيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمُ الْجُمُعَاتِ أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللّهُ عَلى قُلُوبِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَيَكُونُنَّ مِنَ الْغَافِلِيْنَ» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Ibn Umar and Abu Hurairah that they said: We heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying on the pillars of his pulpit: “Some people will stop saying goodbye to Friday prayers, or that God might seal their hearts, and then they would be among the heedless.” Narrated by Muslim
