Hadith #40177
قال: إذا كان يوم الجمعة جلس رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على المنبر فقال: «اجلسوا». 'Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (RA) sat down at the door of the Masjid after hearing this order. فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه رأى فقال: يا عبد الله بن مسعود! تقدم (أبو داود) [1]
He said, On the day of Jumu'ar Salat, the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) sat on the pulpit and said, "Sit down." 'Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (RA) sat down at the door of the Masjid after hearing this order. Rasulullah (may peace be upon him) said that He saw and said, O 'Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud! come forward (Abu Dawud) [1]
