Hadith #40190
وقد أعطى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ذات يوم بعض المعز والغنم لعقبة وهو يقسم بين أصحابه على الأضحية. وبقيت عنزة صغيرة عمرها سنة واحدة بعد التوزيع. هو رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم. قال ذلك. فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: انحره. وفي رواية أخرى قلت: يا رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم)! لم يبق في حصتي سوى عنزة صغيرة واحدة. فقال (عليه السلام): عليك أن تذبح هذا. (البخاري، مسلم) [1]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once gave some goats and sheep to 'Uqba while distributing among his Companions for sacrifice. A one-year-old baby goat remained after the distribution. He is the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). He said that. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, Sacrifice it. In another narration, I said, O Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him)! Only one baby goat remained in my share. He (peace be upon him) Salam) said, You should sacrifice this. (Bukhari, Muslim) [1]
