Mishkatul Masabih — Hadith #39963

Hadith #39963
He narrated on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: If one of you marries a woman or buys a slave, let him say: “O God, I ask you for good - and the best of what you have dumped on him and the best of what you have dumped on him and the good of what you have dumped on him.” And the good character that You created for him, but for you I ask you for his evil, and for the bad character that you created (I seek refuge from what you have done).\n\nAnd if a person buys a camel, he should pray with the top of his lips, as in another narration about the woman and the servant, then he should hold the hair on her forehead. He prays for blessing (Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah)[1].
