Hadith #40512
وعنه قال‏:‏ رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يتوضأ مثل وضوئي هذا ثم قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏من توضأ هكذا، غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه، وكانت صلاته ومشيه إلى المسجد نافلة‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On his authority, he said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performing ablution like this one of mine. Then he said: “Whoever performs ablution like this, his previous sins will be forgiven, and his prayer and walking to the mosque will be voluntary” ((Narrated by Muslim)).
