Hadith #40531
عن جابر بن سمرة، رضي الله عنهما، قال‏:‏ خرج علينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال‏:‏ ‏"‏ألا تصفون كما تصف الملائكة عند ربها‏؟‏‏"‏ فقلنا‏:‏ يا رسول الله وكيف تصف الملائكة عند ربها‏؟‏ قال‏:‏ ‏"‏يتمون الصفوف الأُول، ويتراصون في الصف‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Jabir bin Samra, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came out to us and said: “Don’t you line up as the angels line up before their Lord?” So we said: O Messenger of God, and how do the angels line up before their Lord? He said: “They complete the first rows, and line up in line” ((Narrated by Muslim)..
