Hadith #40606
وعن البراء بن عازب رضي الله عنهما، قال: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
"إذا أتيت مضجعك فتوضأ وضوءك للصلاة، ثم اضطجع على شقك الأيمن، وقل: اللهم أسلمت نفسي إليك، ووجهت وجهي إليك وفوضت أمري إليك، وألجأت ظهري إليك رغبة ورهبة إليك لا ملجأ ولا منجا منك إلا إليك آمنت بكتابك الذي أنزلت، وبنبيك الذي أرسلت، فإن مت، مت على الفطرة، واجعلهن آخر ما تقول" ((متفق عليه)).
On the authority of Al-Baraa bin Azib, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to me: “When you go to your bed, perform your ablution for prayer, then lie down on your right side, and say: O God, I surrender myself to You, and I turn my face to You, and I entrust my affairs to You, and I turn my back to You out of desire and fear for You. There is no refuge or refuge from You except in You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed, and in Your Prophet whom You have sent. Die, die according to nature, and make them the last thing It says: “(Agreed upon).”
