Hadith #40649
وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال‏:‏ سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول‏:‏ ‏"‏كل مصور في النار يجعل له بكل صورة صورها نفس فيعذبه في جهنم‏"‏ قال ابن عباس‏:‏ فإن كنت لابد فاعلا، فاصنع الشجر وما لا ورح فيه‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saying: “Every person who creates something in Hell will have a soul assigned to him for every image he has created, and he will be tormented in Hell.” Ibn Abbas said: If you must do something, then make trees and something that has no scent in it” ((Agreed upon)).
