حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَأَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ سَأَلَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا حَدَّثَكَ سَعْدٌ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا فَلَا تَسْأَلْ عَنْهُ غَيْرَهُ.
Harun bin Marouf told us, he said Ibn Wahb told us, on the authority of Amr bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Abu Al-Nadr, on the authority of Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman, On the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, on the authority of Saad bin Abi Waqqas, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he wiped over the socks and that Abdul God Ibn Omar asked Omar, may God be pleased with him, about that, and he said: Yes, if Saad narrates to you something on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, do not ask.
