حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ مِخْرَاقٍ، عَنْ شَهْرٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَاتَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ قِيلَ لَهُ ادْخُلْ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ الثَّمَانِيَةِ شِئْتَ.
Muammal told us, Hammad told us, he said Ziyad bin Mikhraq told us, on the authority of Shahr, on the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said Omar told me, may God be pleased with him. He heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: Whoever dies believes in God, and on the Last Day it will be said to him, “Enter Paradise.” Which of the eight gates of Paradise you wish.
