Hadith #44749
Yahya narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Amash, a brother narrated to us, Al-Sabi bin Ma’abad narrated to me, and he was a man from Banu Taghlib. He said, “I was a Christian.” So I converted to Islam and worked hard to complete my delegation, so I performed Ihram for Hajj and Umrah, then I passed Al-‘Athib to Salman bin Rabi’ah and Zayd bin Suhan, and one of them said: He threw them all away, and his companion said to him, “Leave him, for he is more lost than his camel.” He said, “It is as if my camel were on my neck.” So I went to Omar, may God be pleased with him, and I mentioned That was for him, and Omar told me that they did not say anything. I was guided by the Sunnah of your Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
