Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #45581

Abdul Rahman narrated to us, Zaida bin Qudamah narrated to us, on the authority of Khalid bin Alqamah, Abd Khair narrated to us, he said Ali sat after the dawn prayer in Al-Rahba, then he said to his servant, “Bring me something to purify.” The boy brought him a vessel containing water and a basin. “Good,” Abdul said, as we sat and watched. To him, he took the vessel with his right hand and placed it on his left hand, then he washed his palms, then he took the vessel with his right hand and emptied it on his hand. The left hand, then he washed his hands and did it three times. Abdul Khair said: All of this is good. He does not put his hand into the vessel until he has washed it three times. Then he put his right hand into the vessel, rinsed his mouth and rinsed it with his left hand. He did that three times, then he inserted his right hand into the vessel. So he washed his face three times, then he washed his right hand up to the elbow three times, then he washed his left hand three times. to the elbow, then he inserted his right hand into the vessel until the water submerged it, then he raised it with the amount of water it carried, then he wiped it with his left hand, then wiped He touched his head with both hands once, then poured water with his right hand three times on his right foot, then washed it with his hand. His left foot, then he poured his right hand over his left foot, then washed it with his left hand three times, then he inserted his right hand and scooped it with his palm. He drank and then said, “This is the purification of the Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Whoever loves to look at the purification of the Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” Peace be upon him, this is his purification.
