حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ حَدِّثْنِي عَنْ طَلَاقِكَ، امْرَأَتَكَ قَالَ طَلَّقْتُهَا وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ قَالَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَذَكَرَهُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْهُ فَلْيُرَاجِعْهَا فَإِذَا طَهُرَتْ فَلْيُطَلِّقْهَا فِي طُهْرِهَا قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ هَلْ اعْتَدَدْتَ بِالَّتِي طَلَّقْتَهَا وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ قَالَ فَمَا لِي لَا أَعْتَدُّ بِهَا وَإِنْ كُنْتُ قَدْ عَجَزْتُ وَاسْتَحْمَقْتُ.
Yazid told us, Abd al-Malik told us, on the authority of Anas ibn Sirin, he said, I said to Ibn Umar, “Tell me about your divorce, your wife.” He said, “I divorced her, and she A menstruating woman said: I mentioned that to Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, so he mentioned it to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the Prophet said: May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He commanded him to take her back, and when she was pure, then to divorce her during her purity. He said, “I told him, ‘Have you observed the state of affairs with the woman you divorced while she was pure?’” A menstruating woman said, “Why should I not take her to heart, even if I have become impotent and have become foolish?”
