حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، وَحَسَنٌ، قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، قَالَ اسْتَأْذَنَ ابْنُ جُرْمُوزٍ عَلَى عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ مَنْ هَذَا قَالُوا ابْنُ جُرْمُوزٍ يَسْتَأْذِنُ قَالَ ائْذَنُوا لَهُ لِيَدْخُلْ قَاتِلُ الزُّبَيْرِ النَّارَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ.
Hashim and Hassan narrated to us, they said, Shayban narrated to us, on the authority of Asim, on the authority of Zirr ibn Hubaysh, he said, Ibn Jarmuz asked Ali’s permission, may God be pleased with him. So he said, “Who is this?” They said, “Ibn Jarmuz asks permission.” He said, “Give him permission to let the killer of Zubair enter Hell. Indeed, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” He, peace and blessings be upon him, said that every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Al-Zubair.
