Hadith #46024
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him, that he heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “If one of you sees a vision that he loves, then it is from God Almighty, so let him praise God for it, and let him narrate it - and according to one narration, he should only narrate it to those he loves - and if he sees other than that which he hates, then it is from Satan, so let him seek refuge from its evil, and do not mention it to anyone, for it will not harm him” ((Agreed upon)).
