Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #40541

On the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, he said that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, would pray four rak’ahs at the beginning of the afternoon, separating them with greetings to the close angels and those who followed them among the Muslims and believers. It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and he said it was a good hadith.
