Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #46141

On the authority of Sakhr bin Wada’a al-Ghamdi, the companion, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “O God, bless my nation in its early years.” And if he sent a company or an army, he would send them from the beginning of the day. Sakhr was a merchant, so he would send out his trade at the beginning of the day, so he became wealthy and his money increased. ((Narrated by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi, who said: a good hadith)).
