Hadith #46144
وعن أبي سعيد وأبي هريرة رضي الله عنهما قالا‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ “إذا خرج ثلاثة في سفر فليأمروا أحدهم‏"‏ حديث حسن، ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود بإسناد حسن‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Abu Saeed and Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with them, they said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “If three people go out on a journey, let them command one of them.” A good hadith, ((Narrated by Abu Dawud with a good chain of transmission)).
