Hadith #46145
وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ “خير الصحابة أربعة وخير السرايا أربعمائة وخير الجيوش أربعة آلاف ولن يغلب اثنا عشر ألفاً عن قلة‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود والترمذي وقال‏:‏ حديث حسن‏)‏‏)‏
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “The best companions are four, the best companies are four hundred, and the best armies are four thousand, and twelve thousand will not be defeated by a small number” ((Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi and said: a good hadith))
