Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #46200

On the authority of Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman bin Abi Sa’sa’ah, that Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him, said to him: “I see that you love sheep and the desert. If you are among your sheep - or your desert - and you call to prayer, raise your voice with the call, for no jinn, human, or anything can hear the voice of the muezzin, except that it will bear witness for him on the Day of Resurrection.” Abu Sa’id said: I heard it from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace ((Narrated by Al-Bukhari)).
