Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #46284

Hadith #46284
وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏بني الإسلام على خمس‏:‏ شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدًا عبده ورسوله، إقام الصلاة، وإيتاء الزكاة، وحج البيت، وصوم رمضان‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏ ‏.‏
On the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Islam is built on five things: testifying that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, establishing prayer, paying zakat, performing the Hajj to the House, and fasting Ramadan” ((Agreed upon)).
