Hadith #46309
وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صام يوم عاشوراء، وأمر بصيامه‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, fasted on the day of Ashura, and commanded its fasting. ((Agreed upon))
