Hadith #46570
On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas, may God be pleased with them both, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “The major sins: associating partners with God, disobeying one’s parents, killing oneself, and swearing a false oath” ((Narrated by Al-Bukhari)). And in a narration: A Bedouin came to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and said: O Messenger of God, what are the major sins? He said: Associating partners with God. He said: Then what? He said: A hidden oath. I said: What is a hidden oath? He said: The one who deducts the money of a Muslim person means an oath in which he is a liar.
