عن زيد بن خادل الجهني رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ "‏لا تسبوا الديك، فإنه يوقظ للصلاة‏"‏‏.‏‏(‏‏(‏ رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح‏)‏‏)‏
On the authority of Zaid bin Khadel Al-Juhani, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Do not curse the rooster, for it wakes you up for prayer.” ((Narrated by Abu Dawud with an authentic chain of transmission))
