Amr bin Aoun and Musaddad narrated to us, saying: Abu Awanah narrated to us, on the authority of Firas, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Zazan, on the authority of Ibn Omar, who said: I heard the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, say: Whoever slaps his servant or beats him in a way that did not come to him, his expiation is to free him.
