حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ هِلاَلَ بْنَ يَسَافٍ يَقُولُ: كُنَّا نَبِيعُ الْبَزَّ فِي دَارِ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ، فَخَرَجَتْ جَارِيَةٌ فَقَالَتْ لِرَجُلٍ شَيْئًا، فَلَطَمَهَا ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ سُوَيْدُ بْنُ مُقَرِّنٍ: أَلَطَمْتَ وَجْهَهَا؟ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي سَابِعَ سَبْعَةٍ وَمَا لَنَا إِلاَّ خَادِمٌ، فَلَطَمَهَا بَعْضُنَا، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُعْتِقُهَا.
Adam told us, he said: Shu`bah told us, he said: Husayn told us, he said: I heard Hilal bin Yasaf say: We used to sell fine linen in the house of Suwayd. Ibn Muqrin, then a maid came out and said something to a man, and that man slapped her, and Suwayd bin Muqrin said to him: You slapped Her face? You saw me as the seventh of seven and we only have a servant, so some of us slapped her, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered him to free her.
