حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي حَيْوَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ وَقَّاصِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: مَنْ أَكَلَ بِمُسْلِمٍ أُكْلَةً، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُطْعِمُهُ مِثْلَهَا مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمَنْ كُسِيَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَكْسُوهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمَنْ قَامَ بِرَجُلٍ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُومُ بِهِ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
Ahmad bin Asim told us, he said: Haywa told me, he said: Baqiyya told us, on the authority of Ibn Thuban, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Makhoul, on the authority of Waqqas Ibn Rabi’ah, on the authority of Al-Mustawirid, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: Whoever eats a meal from a Muslim, God will feed him the like of it from Hell. And whoever clothes a Muslim man, God Almighty will cover him with Hell, and whoever uses a position of hypocrisy and reputation as a man, God will give him a position. Hypocrisy and reputation on the Day of Resurrection.
