Hadith #46845
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ: سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلاً يُثْنِي عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَيُطْرِيهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: أَهْلَكْتُمْ، أَوْ قَطَعْتُمْ، ظَهْرَ الرَّجُلِ.
Muhammad told us, he said: Muhammad bin al-Sabbah told us, he said: Ismail bin Zakaria told us, he said: Burayd bin Abdullah told me, on the authority of my father Burdah, on the authority of Abu Musa, who said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, heard a man praising a man and praising him, so the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: He said: Did you destroy, or cut off, a man’s back?
