Hadith #46846
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ عُمَرَ، فَأَثْنَى رَجُلٌ عَلَى رَجُلٍ فِي وَجْهِهِ، فَقَالَ: عَقَرْتَ الرَّجُلَ، عَقَرَكَ اللَّهُ.
Muhammad told us, he said: Qubaisah told us, he said: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Imran bin Muslim, on the authority of Ibrahim al-Taymi, on the authority of his father, he said: We were sitting with Omar, and a man complimented another man to his face and said: You have disgraced the man, may God disgrace you.
