حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَالَ‏:‏ مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا، وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا، فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا‏.‏
Ali told us, he said: Sufyan told us, Ibn Abi Jurayj told us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Amir, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas, The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was informed of it. He said: Whoever does not have mercy on our youngest and knows the rights of our elders is not one of us.
