حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، وَحَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالاَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا: مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي أَهْلِهِ؟ فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ، فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاةُ خَرَجَ.
Abdullah bin Raja’ and Hafs bin Omar told us, they said: Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Al-Hakam, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Al-Aswad, he said: I asked Aisha, may God be pleased with her: What did the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, do to his family?
