Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47045

Yahya bin Bishr told us, he said: Qubaisa told us, he said: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Rabah, on the authority of Abu Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Mujahid, who said: A man from the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, met me and took my shoulder from behind me and said: As for me, I love you. He said: I love you because you loved me. To him, and he said: Had the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, not said: If a man loves another man, let him tell him that he loves him, I would not have told you. He said: Then He started proposing to me and said: We have a slave girl, but she is one-eyed.
