Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47119

Musaddad narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Zuray’ narrated to us, he said: Husayn narrated to us, he said: Abdullah bin Buraidah narrated to us, on the authority of Bashir bin Ka’b, On the authority of Shaddad ibn Aws, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: The master of seeking forgiveness: Oh God, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise as much as I can. I acknowledge Your grace, and I acknowledge My sin. So forgive me. For no one forgives sins except You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. If he says when the evening comes and dies, he will enter Paradise, or: He was one of the people of Paradise, And when he died in the morning, he died like that from that day.
