حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حِبَّانَ، عَنْ لُؤْلُؤَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي صِرْمَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ غِنَايَ وَغِنَى مَوْلايَ.
Amr bin Khaled told us, he said: Al-Layth told me, on the authority of Yahya bin Sa’id, on the authority of Muhammad bin Yahya bin Hibban, on the authority of Lu’lu’a, on the authority of Abu Sarmah said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say: Oh God, I ask you for my riches and the riches of my master.
