حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بِشْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْعُو: اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي، وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَحْمَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ، أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ.
Yahya bin Bishr told us, he said: Abu Qatn told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Salamah, meaning Abdul Aziz, on the authority of Qudamah bin Musa, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray: Oh God, make my religion right for me, which is the protection of my affairs, and make my world right for me. In which is my livelihood, and make death a mercy for me from every evil, or as he said.
