حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ سُمَيْرٍ الأَلَهَانِيِّ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، وَكَانَ بِجَمْعٍ مِنَ الْمَجَامِعِ، فَبَلَغَهُ أَنَّ أَقْوَامًا يَلْعَبُونَ بِالْكُوبَةِ، فَقَامَ غَضْبَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْهَا أَشَدَّ النَّهْيِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَلاَ إِنَّ اللاَّعِبَ بِهَا لَيَأْكُلُ ثَمَرَهَا، كَآكِلِ لَحْمِ الْخِنْزِيرِ، وَمُتَوَضِّئٍ بِالدَّمِ. يَعْنِي بِالْكُوبَةِ: النَّرْدَ.
Issam told us, he said: Hariz told us, on the authority of Salman bin Samir Al-Alahani, on the authority of Fadalah bin Ubaid, and he was in a group of academies, so he informed him Some people were playing with the cup, so Ghadban stood up and strictly forbade it, then he said: The one who plays with it is to eat. Its fruit is like one who eats the flesh of a pig, and is ablution with blood. By “koba” he means: dice.
