Hadith #47304
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُدْعَانَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ: كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ يَجْثُو بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَيَنْثُرُ كِنَانَتَهُ وَيَقُولُ: وَجْهِي لِوَجْهِكَ الْوِقَاءُ، وَنَفْسِي لِنَفْسِكَ الْفِدَاءُ.
Ali bin Abdullah told us, he said: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ibn Jud’an, he said: I heard Anas bin Malik say: Abu Talha was He kneels before the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, spreads his quiver and says: My face is my protection for your face, and my soul is for your sake.
