حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ: مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُفَدِّي رَجُلاً بَعْدَ سَعْدٍ، سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: ارْمِ، فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي
Qabisa told us, he said: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Saad bin Ibrahim, he said: Abdullah bin Shaddad told me, he said: I heard Ali, may God be pleased with him. On his authority, he said: I never saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, ransom a man after Saad. I heard him say: Shoot, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you.
