حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ عِيسَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُؤَمَّلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، حِينَ ذَكَرَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ أَنَّ سُهَيْلاً قَدْ أَرْسَلَهُ إِلَيْهِ قَوْمُهُ، فَصَالَحُوهُ عَلَى أَنْ يَرْجِعَ عَنْهُمْ هَذَا الْعَامَ، وَيُخَلُّوهَا لَهُمْ قَابِلَ ثَلاَثَةٍ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ أَتَى فَقِيلَ: أَتَى سُهَيْلٌ: سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ أَمْرَكُمْ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ السَّائِبِ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Ibrahim bin Al-Mundhir narrated to us, on the authority of Ma’an bin Issa, who said: Abdullah bin Mu’mal narrated to me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Sa’ib, that The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was in the year of Hudaybiyyah, when Uthman ibn Affan mentioned that Suhail had been sent to him by his people, so they reconciled with him on the condition that He will return to them this year, and they will leave it to them for three days. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said when he came, and it was said: Suhail came: May God make your affairs easy. Abdullah bin Al-Sa'ib approached the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
